- Common Fault Symptoms & Motherboard Diagnostics:
* Network & Signal Failure: "No Service", "Emergency Calls Only", weak reception, or inability to latch onto 5G/4G bands caused by zero or unstable output voltage on the PA rail.
* Overheating in RF Shield Section: Extreme heating around the RF section during phone calls or cellular data sessions due to internal shorting of the converter.
* Secondary Rail Short / High DC Leakage: A short circuit across the input supply or output buck coil pulls down primary power lines, creating a dead-phone or high DC supply current pulse.
* Dead After Flash / Recovery Failure: System fails to complete boot sequence if modem firmware checks cannot establish hardware handshake with the MT6308 chip.
* Diagnostic Caution: Not a main system PMIC or charging IC; replacing MT6308MP will not resolve USB charging or display backlight problems.
